Canada 150 needs to be a turning point where people learn to reconcile with the ancestors of the territory they live on - the territory that feeds and nourishes them. That literally contributes the atoms that make us. Now is the time to centre between our ancestors and our future generations to come. Art is one way to do that. It is channelling those ancestor spirits and then leaving a lasting legacy of that message for
our descendants. It is time to hear Indigenous artists and to let their messages lead the way to where we go from here. On a new track that is not about dishonouring those who went before us, and robbing those yet to come.
